Hayden Cotsford
Hayden has over 10 years' experience providing tax advice to private clients and businesses of all sizes. He strongly believes in knowing his clients and their businesses well so he can deliver the best advice both now and for the future. Clients value Hayden for the strategies he delivers enabling them to maximise their goals at every phase of their businesses, from starting up, stabilisation and growth, to winding down.
Hayden has a strong personal interest in effective tax and debt structures for property investors and developers. Aware of the ever-changing legislation to superannuation and its impact on increasing numbers of Australian retirees, he also has a keen interest in formulating strategies for clients to maximise their superannuation outcomes as they approach and enter their retirement.
Hayden is an enthusiastic and talented sportsperson, playing competitive tennis for the Currawong Tennis Club every summer and football for the Donvale Football Club each winter since 2004. He combines his talents in professional and sports life by holding the positions of treasurer and committee member on the executive for Donvale Football Club since 2007.
Derek Ma
Derek has over 9 years' experience advising a wide range of clients ranging from employees, family-owned businesses, multi-national corporations to retirees. Aside from being a Certified Practising Accountant, he is also an Accredited Self Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor.
Derek has a strongly personal approach to advising clients, with all work based on understanding clients' present situations, their aspirations and working closely together to provide up-to-date advice and ongoing support to enable clients to achieve and exceed their goals. He is particularly experienced in advising businesses operating in the following industries both domestically in Australia and overseas: aged care facilities, medical practices, property buyers' advocates; audio-visual suppliers and engineers; supermarkets and software development firms.
A keen sportsman, Derek enjoys most outdoor activities, travelling and is a passionate skier.
